About

All about Travis | Prior to launching his freelance career, Travis Wood worked for the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium in California as well as the award-winning design firm Split Rock Studios in Minnesota.

His work has been repeatedly recognized by the American Association for State and Local History and the National Association for Interpretation, and can be found in historical and cultural institutions across North America. Travis holds a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Travis has volunteered extensively for the RISD Alumni Association and is affiliated with American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), and the National Association for Interpretation (NAI). He lives in Pacific Grove, California where he enjoys fishing, dog-spotting, and exploring the vast biodiversity of the Pacific Coast.
